| Follow
these steps to configure a new Client Access session:

| 1. Click the Windows START
button --> Programs --> IBM AS/400 Client Access --> Emulator --> Start or Configure,
you will then see this window. Click on New Session.

| 2. You will now see the
Configure window Put the IP Address of your system in the System Name box.
|
| 3. If you want to have a
permanent WSID assigned, then put it in the Workstation ID box, if not just leave it
blank. If you want to assign a WSID it can only be two(2) characters and must be unique.
|
| 4. Make sure that the Display
radio button is selected and then use the drop down box to change the size to 27X132, this
helps in viewing some of the reports that are large, but it is not necessary.
|
| 5. Host Code Page should say 37
United States.
|
| 6. Both the Bypass Signon and
Auto Reconnect should NOT be selected.
|
| 7. The Port Number should be 23.
|
| 8. Hit OK.
|

| 9. You should now be at the
Signon Information window. Type in the AS/400 UserID of the person that will use this
computer, or select the Promt Everytime button to leave this blank.

| 10. Hit OK, then signon to the system.
|
 |
| 11. Click on File on the menu bar.
|
| 12. Click Save, and you will be at the
Save Workstation screen.
|
| 13. Name the session (anything).WS
and take the default folder to save it in, and click OK.

 |
| 14. Next on the menu bar click Edit -->
Preferences --> Apperance --> Window Setup and you should see the Window Setup screen, make the box selections
reflected here on your screen, make the session ID match the one you specified in step 4. Then click OK.

| 15. Close the session by clicking the red X
in the upper right corner, and minimize all the screens you have open.

| 16. Click the Windows START
button --> Programs --> IBM AS/400 Client Access --> Emulator --> Start or Configure, drag the workstation icon
to your desktop. You are now setup to run normally.
